Our Better World
Our Better World: rebrand & Web revamp
Our Better World (OBW), an initiative by the Singapore International Foundation, was a digital storytelling platform that spotlighted everyday changemakers across Asia, with the goal of inspiring collective action and driving social impact.
As part of the redesign effort, I focused on rethinking the platform’s overall information architecture to better support content discovery and scalability. This included restructuring navigation and content groupings to make stories easier to browse, search, and engage with across different user intents.
I also worked on improving content clarity and readability across key pages, ensuring that information was presented in a way that was intuitive, digestible, and aligned with users’ mental models. Particular attention was given to accessibility, with designs guided by WCAG standards to create a more inclusive experience for a wider range of users.
Throughout the process, I collaborated cross-functionally to align design decisions with content strategy and organisational goals, while balancing storytelling with usability.
Although OBW ceased operations in 2023 and the work was not launched, the project reflects a strong focus on content-led UX, accessibility, and designing for meaningful engagement.
